For me, the studio is a magical place.
It allows for great concentration, where the lights
enclose the space and only what is lit up exists.
This creates a special kind of silence.
I always used to have music playing, but afterwards,
I preferred the silence. It's like a temple,
it invites you to speak quietly.
It's not stupid to say that this creates silent photos ...
In the studio one looks around in a serene, measured way,
without rushing.
You don't cast fleeting, quick glances.
It's a look that builds things up bit by bit, bringing
order to the pieces of the puzzle.
It's a space in which to rebuild reality, to reinvent it.
